Scholarship Information - 2011

The George Mangiaracina Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in Jne 1977 by the Illinois Employment and Training Association Executive Board on behalf of all Illinois Employment and Training members. George Mangiaracina dedicated his professional life to working with, and on behalf of, the Illinois Department of  Commerce and Community Affiars and the Illinois Employment and Training Association. He was an outstanding servant and was truly concerned about the individuals he served.

The Illinois Employment and Training Association will award two $500 and one $300 scholarship to graduating seniors from the Class of 2011. The applicant must demonstrate a need for financial assistance and be in the top 50% of their class. The applicants must reside in the State of Illinois plan on attending a community college or four year institution within the State of Illinois and major in Accounting or Business. The deadline for application is May 1, 2011.
