ROE Information:

The Regional Office of Education for Champaign and Ford Counties is located in the Myna Thompson Elementary School Building at Rantoul, Illinois. It represents a publicly owned facility and is centrally located within the two-county area.

This two-county Regional Office of Education encompasses approximately 1500 square miles. The region is 115 miles long from North to South and 30 miles wide.

Funding for the Regional Office of Education is supplied by county funds from Champaign and Ford Counties.

The Regional Office of Education for Champaign and Ford Counties serves a total population of approximately 199,000 people. Currently there are seventeen public school districts and twenty-five registered nonpublic schools within the region. The educational system consists of 2,645 certified personnel and over 23,500 students.
