U.S. Dept. of Education Approved Designated Teacher Shortage Areas
The United States Department of Education approved the following as designated teacher shortage areas during the 2002-2003 school year. Individuals who have been receiving a teacher shortage scholarship in other areas should contact the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC) at 1-800-899-4722. Teacher shortage scholarship applications and information can also be obtained by contacting ISAC.
