CTE Mission: CubeSat

Please refer to  ISBE's Weekly Message from August 25, 2020 for more information regarding dates and prizes. The information can be found under District Opportunities in the right sidebar.

The U.S. Department of Education has launched CTE Mission: CubeSat, a national challenge to inspire students to build technical skills in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields. High school students across the country are invited to design and build cube satellite (CubeSat) prototypes (satellites that aid in space research), bringing space missions out of the clouds and into the classroom. Interested schools should submit a mission proposal by Oct. 16. Curated educational resources are available online in the CTE Mission: CubeSat resource hub. Schools can learn more at a virtual information session on Sept. 1.
